More About Vikrant Massey Film
The film, billed as a biographical drama, is about teenage Manoj Kumar Sharma’s intense quest to pass the UPSC. UPSC is thought to be India’s most difficult exam. The film follows his incredible journey through the convoluted educational system, from being a 12th Fail to transferring to New Delhi and becoming a high-ranking IPS officer. Manoj’s decision to reach the peak with honesty in his heart and his determination and resilience in overcoming numerous obstacles along the way are also highlighted in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s film.
Despite its sincerity, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s film presents a stale story of perseverance triumphing over all obstacles. Moreover, the TVF aspirants cast a shadow over the realm of the 12th Fail. However, the supporting cast of the movie seemed tacked on, according to CE’s assessment of the movie, whereas the later series explored the reasons for each character.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Yogesh Ishwar produced the film. Along with Jaskunwar Kohli, the director also edited the movie; Rangarajan Ramabadran handled the cinematography. Furthermore, the film’s soundtrack was written by Shantanu Moitra, a frequent collaborator with Vinod Chopra.
