The winners of the 70th National Film Awards were announced on Friday at the National Media Center in New Delhi. The official ceremony, where the President will honor the best Indian films from 2022, will take place at a later date. Films, both feature and non-feature, certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2022, were eligible for this year’s awards. The jury includes Rahul Rawail, Nila Madhab Panda, and Gangadhar Mudalair.
Rishab Shetty won the Best Actor award for the film Kantara and Nithya Menen and Manasi Paresh won the Best Actress awards for the film Tiruchitrabalam and Kutch Express. The Malayalam film ‘Aattam’ won the Best Film. Here is the full list of winners in the Feature Films and Non Feature Films categories.
