Chhapaak Trailer Released: Deepika Padukone As Malti Leaves An Impact

Based on a true story, the Chhapaak trailer is released and definitely, after watching the trailer, it will give you goosebumps. Deepika Padukone as the acid attack survivor Malti leaves an impact. She looks powerful, strong and convincing in the role of Malti. Previously the video of Deepika Padukone as a schoolgirl from Chhapaak was leaked and made highlights.

A 2 minutes 19 seconds long trailer shows the story of a girl Malti who is an acid attack survivor. Malti files a PIL, due to which the case of acid attack gets attention from the entire nation. The trailer shows the struggle of Malti and how she survives from acid attack.

Her entire face, ear, and nose get burnt. She finds after surgery that she will never be the same again. Chhapaak trailer has a very strong message and it will give you goosebumps and makes you emotional at the same time.

Chhappak is based on true events. After watching the trailer,  we can say that director Meghna Gulzar has done a terrific job in bringing this story to the people. Deepika Padukone as Malti shows how brilliant an actress she is. In this movie, you will see Deepika Padukone where her beauty lies in the heart.

The dialogues in the trailer are heart-touching. A few of them can make you emotional as well. ‘Unhone meri surat badli hai, mann nahi.’ Kitna acha hota agar acid bikta hi nahi, milta hi nahi to fikta hi nahi.’ In one of the scenes in the trailer, we see a kid screams looking at Malti after the acid attack. Chhapaak is based on a story of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. At the age of just 15 in the year 2005, she was attacked by a 32-year-old man named Gudda whose advances Laxmi rejected. Vikrant Messy is playing the role of Amol inspired by the real-life character Alok Dixit who is a social activist. The trailer looks promising and surely it has emotions which will make you ask one question, How can someone do this? Chhapaak will be releasing on January 10, 2020. Deepika Padukone is co-producing this movie and this will be her first movie as a producer.
