After Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, released several years ago, director Sooraj Barjatya returns with a different kind of family film. A forthcoming drama movie in Hindi from India is titled Uunchai. Sooraj Barjatya is the film’s writer and director. Rajshri Productions, Boundless Media, and Mahaveer Jain Films all contributed to the production of the movie. Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher, and Parineeti Chopra are the stars of the movie Uunchai. In addition, Danny Denzongpa, Sarika, and Neena Gupta are also playing pivotal roles in the film. The movie will be released in theatres on November 11, 2022.
Uunchai Trailer
The 2 minutes, 50-second-long trailer is lively. This is because numerous veterans teamed up in one frame, which is an impressive feat in and of itself. Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher, and Danny Denzongpa make up the group of four buddies. Even at this age, they are still discussing the concept of summiting Mount Everest. Unfortunately, however, Danny passes away from old age before they can even reach a decision. So now, the other three friends decide to fulfill Danny’s wish by immersing his ashes at the summit of Mount Everest.
To prepare them for their mission, Parineeti joins the team. The youngest of the group is Parineeti Chopra. She portrays a mountaineering coach who is guiding this group of “oldies” in scaling the highest peak. They eventually succeed with the help of Neena and Sarika as well. Uunchai Trailer Review
According to the trailer, Uunchai is a pleasant and simple story of genuine friendship. It is also a concept that Bollywood has been lacking for a while. At the age of 80, legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan is working smoothly. Uunchai will be his fourth movie releasing in 2022, after Jhund, Runway 34, and Goodbye.
After the death of Danny, the trio trek Everest base camp for the final wish of their friend, despite their old age and health difficulties. The slogan of the movie says, “Friendship was their motivation.” We also have a glance at the three female stars, Parineeti Chopra, Neena Gupta, and Sarika. They don’t seem to play a significant part in this story of four buddies. The movie’s trailer also contains moments that will make you smile, laugh, and cry simultaneously.
