Don’t you think all surreal art deserves to be appreciated? Music, dance, and anything else that makes us happy is an art form. The entertainment industry every year organizes various awards shows to appreciate the creation of many artists across the world. The Tony Awards are one such venue for recognition.
The Tony Awards
Tony Awards are given out each year to recognize the best work in American theatre. The yearly awards, named for actress-producer Antoinette Perry, were created in 1947 by the American Theatre Wing to recognize excellence in Broadway productions of plays and musicals. Best play, best musical, best play revival, and best musical revival awards are given, as well as acting, directing, music, choreography, set design, and costume design.
