Adipurush Has Received Harsh Criticism For Its Visual Effects And Dialogues
The film features Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, and Devdatta Nage, which has received harsh criticism from various quarters. Since the film’s debut, fans have been criticizing and harassing the filmmakers on social media and calling for a “ban” on the film due to the purportedly “pedestrian” lines used in the epic drama based on the Ramayana.
A few sentences, particularly those from Hanuman Ji’s Lanka Dahan Scene, have angered many fans. A user posted the following:

In addition to the Lanka Dahen Scene, another scene has a legendary figure who states the following:
“Jo humari behno ko haath lagaayenge, unki Lanka laga denge.”
Manoj Muntashir, The Film’s Dialogue Writer, Responds To The Criticism
In an interview, he said the terms’ oversimplification wasn’t a mistake. Muntashir claimed in an interview with the Republic World that writing required a careful thought process. He stated:
“It is not an error.”
“A very meticulous thought process that has gone into writing the dialogues for Bajrangbali. We have made it simple because we have to understand one thing (that) if there are multiple characters in a film, all of them can’t speak the language. There has to be a kind of diversion, a division.”
In addition, Muntashir responded to a question concerning Hanuman’s speech in Adipurush’s “Lanka Dahan” scene as follows:
“How do we all know the Ramayana? We have the tradition of katha vaachan (storytelling), we read also but there is a vaachan parampara (the tradition of storytelling). Ramayan is the kind of granth (book) which we have heard from our very childhood, there is Akhand Ramayan, paath and many other things. I come from a small village where our grandmothers used to tell us stories from Ramayan in this language. One more thing, the dialogue that you just mentioned, it has been used by the greatest saints, storytellers in our country in the same manner as I have written it (in Adipurush). I am not the first one to write this dialogue, it is already there.”
