The 23rd August 2023 episode of Kumkum Bhagya opens with everyone in amazement as Mayank threatens to commit suicide by placing a knife into his wrist. Prachi Attempts To Distract Mayank
Prachi informs Mayank that his mother is unwell and is lying in bed at home, hoping his son can provide for them. She tells Ranbir to take advantage of this distraction by grabbing the knife away from Mayank as Mayank becomes momentarily captivated by her voice.
Mayank Gets Arrested
After Ranbir attacks Mayank and his knife is taken away, the police apprehend Mayank, and Mihika gets back together with her family. After everything is handled, Mihika suggests that they go back home and finish the ceremony, but Pallavi declines.
What Will Happen Next In Kumkum Bhagya?
The debate concerning the engagement and the reason Pallavi declined the ceremony is resumed in the opening moments of the upcoming episode after everyone has returned home. Pallavi replies that she is aware that Ranbir still harbors feelings for someone else, shocking Ranbir when he asks her what she is thinking. Pallavi claims that while gazing at Prachi, she realized that Ranbir and Mihika are not a suitable fit for one another. When Akshay notices this, he becomes enraged.
Everyone is surprised when Akshay claims to know why Ranbir won’t wed Mihika and points towards Prachi. Ranbir punches Akshay when Akshay continues describing Prachi as a degraded lady lacking in morality and integrity. Everyone is stunned by the unexpected confrontation between Ranbir and Akshay, and Pallavi worries that word will get out that Ranbir and Prachi were once married. Ranbir clutches Akshay’s collar and questions him how he could say such a thing about Prachi as Prachi stands there looking stunned.
