“Animal” witnessed a formidable opening, soaring to Rs 54.75 crore on Friday and hitting Rs 63.46 crore by its first Sunday. Despite mixed reviews, the film’s powerhouse performances by Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol have been celebrated by the audience. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial, revolving around a father-son relationship “carved in blood,” received its fair share of criticism. However, the film’s dynamic leads have kept the cash registers ringing. The film raked in Rs 22.35 crore for Hindi language and Rs 1.78 crore for South Indian languages in its 7th Day. Thus totaling to Rs 300.81 crore for Hindi language and Rs 338.63 crore for all languages combined.
