The 8th January 2024 episode of Kumkum Bhagya begins with society members hooting at Purvi’s family and telling them not to stay there. Rajvansh goes to a temple, grabs the vermillion box, and returns to Purvi, filling her hairline with it, which surprises everyone. Furthermore, he claims that his mother believes that kumkum is a woman’s destiny and that now Purvi’s Kumkum Bhagya is with him; she is his wife, and her regard is his respect. Thus, no one should say anything negative about Purvi. He continues, “I am Rajvansh Malhotra, and Purvi is now Purvi Rajvansh Malhotra.”

Concerned Harleen
Meanwhile, Harleen becomes concerned when Harman does not answer her phone call, prompting Dadu to contact him, but Harman returns home agitated. Harleen becomes concerned when she notices him agitated and asks him about Rajvansh, to which Harman responds that he could not locate Rajvan. He rushes to the police station to inquire about him and learns that the disturbance hurt no one. Harleen feels relieved that Rajvansh is safe but worries about why Harman is concerned.
Jasbeer, the son of a powerful MLA, has Harleen concerned that he is implicated in Rajvansh’s abduction. Harman also reveals that Jasbeer is now in jail, but the inspector advises keeping Rajvansh safe, especially whenever Jasbeer is out. Dadu wonders why Rajvansh is gone if Jasbeer is in jail and no one was injured in the violence, just as Damini sees Yug is also absent.
Shocked Yug
On the other hand, a woman attempts to challenge Rajvansh’s decision and inquires about this drama, while Rajvansh urges her not to say anything inappropriate. Yug, who has been lurking nearby, observes this and is startled.
Rajvansh approaches Ashutosh and tells him he has no clue what he has lost since Purvi is a gem, and no one can find such a clean and characterful lady in today’s world when he observes Yug. He claims that Yug is his brother and that if he doesn’t believe him, he should ask Yug since he constantly tells him that Purvi deserves a decent person, to which Ashutosh defends himself by stating that he is just good, but Purvi is a wicked lady. Rajvansh asks him to stop and not disrespect Purvi since she is now his wife, and he would not accept anything against her.
