A much-awaited film, Yodha, is finally released in theatres. It stars Sidharth Malhotra, Disha Patani, and Raashii Khanna in pivotal roles. Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha wrote and directed the film. Sidharth Malhotra plays the character of Arun Katyal, who leads a special task force, Yodha. His father was the first commanding officer of this task force. In the meantime, he is also stressed by a setback in his personal life. Additionally, his life partner is not able to tolerate his adventures. Furthermore, after a few years, another hijack takes place on an Indian flight. However, this time, Arun is the Air Commander onboard. Will Arun be able to save the flight and the passengers? In recent years, there has been a lot of betterment in Bollywood action films in terms of quality. Additionally, Yodha seems to take the bar even more high. Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra always looks dashing and plays a uniformed man effortlessly, be it Shershaah or the recently released web series Indian Police Force. Sidharth Malhotra is the heart and soul of Yodha; the way he performs the action scenes is top-notch, especially the mid-air sequence. Raashii Khanna looks good in the film. Her relationship part adds an emotional context to the film.
Disha Patani is superb in her role as an air hostess. As always, she looks adorable. She is a big surprise in the film. The director duo of Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha have done a good job. Though the screenplay might seem rushed at times; but the execution is on-point and thrilling. After a point, the narrative constantly gives you one twist after another. Therefore, all of this together keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Meanwhile, apart from action, Yodha also covers the themes of courage, patriotism, and sacrifice. The film showcases the strong spirit of soldiers. They put their lives at risk to protect others. The mid-air action sequences are terrific. The movie’s background score also increases the tension and emotions throughout the movie. Overall, it is a genre-defining film that brings something new to the action movie genre in Bollywood.

Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna, and Disha Patani starrer Yodha is a gripping action movie. Additionally, it is a movie that will keep you glued to the screen and not want to miss a single moment. Although there are a few minor flaws, it is a must-watch. We give the film 4 stars out of 5.
