Faisal Malik’s Honesty Costed Him His Job
Recently, actor Faisal Malik was invited by The Lallantop for an interesting interview. He was asked to share a few glimpses of his personal and professional life. The actor, in conversation, revealed how once he lost his job for being way too honest with Big B. He recalled how it was his first meet with the veteran actor at his home along with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap for an upcoming film. Here’s what he stated.
“I was excited because I was going to meet Bachchan sahab. As soon as I saw him, I forgot the purpose of our visit and asked for his autograph.”
The actor further praised Amitabh Bachchan’s kind and welcoming nature and further stated,
“The food kept coming at Big B’s house. You wouldn’t be able to finish one dish before they present a new one. I told him I am from Allahabad and he talked to me. Then he asked if I would have til ke laddu. I thought he wouldn’t be able to eat it because of his age. Sorry, I shouldn’t say this. But when the laddus arrived, he ate two before me. I thought he was lying about his age; he is still very much young.”
Faisal’s talk about Big B didn’t end there. Malik went on to appreciate Amitabh Bachchan and how he gives attention to details.
“He remembered all 120 pages of the script and didn’t even have to look at the script to point out the mistake. He asked me, ‘When do you think we should shoot this?’ I honestly responded, ‘Sir, we shouldn’t shoot this now. We should shoot this after six months.’ After we finished the meeting and stepped downstairs, I was told, ‘You don’t work on this project. You leave it,’ because I spoke the truth.”

Faisal Malik is a promising actor whose performance in Panchayat 3 is being loved by everyone around the world. He is known for playing the role of Prahlad Pandey in the series Panchayat. Faisal was born in Prayagraj, UP, and comes from a middle-class background. Malik never pursued to be an actor or demonstrated any academic skills. He began his career as an assistant producer and video editor. As he gained experience and honed his skills, he founded his production company named “Humari Film firm.”
