In all Indian languages, Kalki 2898 AD reported business of  Rs 95.3 crore on its launch day and Rs 57.6 crore on Friday. Day 5 saw a consistent run for the movie, bringing the total to Rs 343.6 crore. The fictional film, written and directed by Nag Ashwin, shows a mixture of sci-fi elements along with concepts of mythological tales. The film is praised worldwide and has created a different craze.
