Mura Movie Story
Gangster Ani is the right hand of businesswoman Rema, who works with her on several illegal activities. Ani contacts Anandhu and Saji’s gang about a high-profile robbery. Anandhu, Saji, Manu, and Manaf are young goons who know how to get out of a crime scene.
When Anandhu and the gang plan the robbery with the help of local gangsters in Madurai, it changes their lives altogether. The consequences of a crime on their lives and the act of revenge are told in the rest of the movie.
Mura Movie Review
Director Muhammed Musthafa’s Mura is an interesting story of revenge. The director did a brilliant job of setting up the story. The story manages to hold your attention throughout the majority of the runtime. Musthafa worked on a lot of intricate details throughout the first half of the movie. Additionally, the action sequences are some of the best ones in recent times as they look real, brutal, and as gory as they can get.
Moving on to the cast performances, almost all the cast members did a brilliant job but Suraj Venjamoodu stood out. His exceptional performance as a gang leader is just mind-blowing. Furthermore, Maala Parvathi steps into a different role this time but steals the show with her top-notch performance. Another brilliant actor who deserves all the praise is Hriddhu Haroon particularly. He showcases his talent both in action-packed sequences and emotional moments.
Apart from them, all other supporting cast members performed their parts with utmost dedication. In addition to this, another aspect that deserves praise is the background music. It elevates the overall intensity of the narrative. However, what might disappoint you is the second half of the movie which had several moments where the film seemed stretched. It is in this phase that the narrative begins to stumble.
Final Verdict
Overall, Mura is filled with mind-blowing action sequences and exceptional performances. It brings a fresh perspective on a gangster story and brings an engaging cinematic experience. For all action lovers, Mura is a binge-worthy watch.
