Praneet Samaiya asked, ‘Being Rati Agnihotri’s son, do you feel the pressure of constantly proving yourself in the industry?’

Tanuj Virwani replied, ‘If you are the son of a major star, there is a double-edged sword. But also there is an advantage that perhaps you get a good opportunity at the start, that maybe an outsider may not get. You get certain accessibility in the industry because people respect your parents, and the hype is always real. However, there is a pitfall, because there is always a comparison. If your initial film did not work, the same people started criticizing you.

My initial movies did not work, but it was a learning curve. But to be honest, no complaints, I am proud to be called my mother’s son. But at the same time, I wanted to be known as Tanuj Virwani.’
