Jaat Review

Director Gopichand Malineni, known for serving brilliant movies in Telugu, brings that same rooted energy with Jaat. He has directed the action-packed drama Jaat with full enthusiasm. He has brought back the original Sunny Deol from the 90s in a power-packed avatar. The story is good. The screenplay is engaging, and it makes the film more impactful.
The dialogues in the film, especially the punchlines, are whistle-worthy. The high-energy combat and fiery face-off between Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda are the highlights of the film. A raw and powerful cinematographic style, along with big battle scenes, creates a grand visual experience in the film. The background music crafted by Thaman S delivers a high-energy background that enhances and elevates every scene.
Jaat Performances

Sunny Deol, who is known for his action and mass appeal, is electrifying. He is a master in these kinds of action movies, and adding another feather to his cap is Jaat. His powerful persona is a treat for his fans. His punchline, “Yeh dhai kilo ke haath ki taakat pura north dekh chuka hai… ab south dekhega” erupts the theatre. Randeep Hooda as antagonist Ranatunga is magnetic and menacing. He is ruthless, fearless, and equally matches Sunny Deol.

Viineet Kumar Singh is equally good. Glad to see him getting recognized. He plays his part with perfection. Saiyami Kher also played her part with sincerity. Other actors, Regina Cassandra, Ramya Krishnan, Jagapathi Babu, Babloo Prithviraj, Zarina Wahab, and Upendra Limaye lend solid support to the story.
The first half is an explosive buildup with the introduction of Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda, along with a Sorry Bol angle with a superb interval block. The second half lags a little, but the jail sequence elevates the film with a strong climax.
Final Verdict

Overall, Jaat is a mass entertainer filled with powerful dialogues, intense drama, and terrific action. Sunny Deol is back to his OG mode with his action-packed avatar. If you are a fan of desi-action entertainer, Jaat is a paisa vasool film.
