Aayushmati Geeta Matric Pass Movie Review
The writers of the movie present a deeply relevant and familiar story. Education in rural India is still seen as a taboo for girls especially. Aayushmati Geeta Matric Pass aptly captures the real-world difficulties that many face. One of the best parts is how the film presents the older generation’s views versus the progressive attitude of the younger generation. Additionally, the director Prradip Khairwar has done a good job of capturing the true essence of the narrative. It is a perfect blend of emotions and humor which will keep you engaged throughout the duration.
Moving on to the performances, Kashika Kapoor in her debut role, steals the show. She indulges herself in the character so deeply that you will surely start to root for her. She also brings natural charm which is quite important especially while portraying emotional scenes. Anuj Saini also delivers a good performance that compliments best Kashika’s character. The chemistry between them is adorable. Apart from them, Atul Shrivastava and Alka Amin also play their roles sincerely.
All other supporting characters make sure that the movie doesn’t get monotonous. Moreover, the music also suits the film well but it doesn’t come out as a major element. Some songs still leave a lasting impression. However, it comes with some flaws too. The pacing, though generally alright, could have been better with trimming some of the scenes that seem repetitive. The screenplay gets a little predictable at times. There are moments where the film seems to be a little stretched, especially in the later half.
Final Verdict
Aayushmati Geeta Matric Pass is an interesting film that features a socially relevant message on girls’ education. There’s also a sweet love story that compliments the narrative. This surely qualifies for a good one-time watch. We rate this movie 3.5 out of 5 stars.
