Om Raut’s directorial was made on an estimated budget of over Rs 600 crore. The movie is one of the most expensive films in Indian cinema history. This is why, despite collecting a gross global collection of Rs 390 crore, it has proven to be a tremendous commercial flop. After Saaho and Radhe Shyam, this is Prabhas’ third big disappointment, but the Baahubali actor hopes to rebound with Salaar, which opens on September 28.

Moreover, the cast was chosen to be some of the great actors. Sunny Singh stars as Sesh (Lakshmana), Devdatta Nage as Bajrang (Lord Hanuman), Vatsal Sheth as Indrajit (Meghnada), Sonal Chauhan as Mandodari, Siddhant Karnick as Vibhishana, Krishna Kotian as Dashratha, and Trupti Todarmal as Sarama in the mythical action film Adipurush. Further, Bhushan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair produced the movie under their T-Series and Retrophiles labels.
