Aliya Basu Gayab Hai is a significant addition to the world of mystery and suspense. Most scenes in the movie leave you with unanswered questions and unexpected twists. The narrative of the movie will keep your pulses racing with the intrigue and suspense. Additionally, it has all the elements of a genuine commercial potboiler. Preeti Singh did a fine job with the direction of the movie. She captures each scene with utmost perfection and dedication.

Another positive aspect of the movie is the cast’s performance. Vinay Pathak in the role of Vikram Singh did an excellent job. His acting skills and the dialogue delivery are top-notch. Salik Diwan also does a good job while playing the role of Deepak Kumar. He brings the required intrigue to the narrative and makes it even more interesting. Meanwhile, another lead character Raima Sen, who plays the role of Aliya Basu, captures the emotions of her character with perfection.

However, one major drawback of the movie is that it seems to be dragged at certain scenes. This also makes its pacing a little slow at times. Although the narrative has interesting twists, some sequences are quite predictable, reducing the impact. Nevertheless, the background score, the editing, the storytelling, and other major aspects cover the flaws.
