The CEO and founder of the semi-permanent hair color manufacturer Paradyes is Yushika Jolly. She appeared in Season 2 of the reality tv show Shark Tank India. Her investment pitch sparked a brawl among the sharks as well. She and her husband, Siddharth Raghuvanshi, ultimately chose to accept the offer made by SUGAR Cosmetics CEO Vineeta Singh and boAT co-founder Aman Gupta. They made 65 lakh rupees offer in exchange for 2% of the company’s equity. Peyush Bansal, CEO of Lenskart, had offered 65 lakhs for 1% of the equity.
Yushika Faces Online Harassment
Yushika Jolly spoke about the online harassment she experienced on LinkedIn after her appearance on Shark Tank India Season 2. It happened just two days after the business reality television show episode that featured her and her company aired. Additionally, she has received terrible, hateful messages. Yushika was also referred to as unprofessional, rude, smug, manipulative, greedy, and a bitch. Jolly further mentioned that the keyboard warriors complimented her husband on his excellent negotiation abilities and his smile. Her business sense and negotiation abilities, however, came under fire.

She continued by saying that she was beginning to think that, as a country, we hate women for being opinionated and assertive. Yushika Jolly justified their choice to accept the offer made by Vineeta Singh and Aman Gupta. She also asserts that no one knows her line of work better than she does. They could have accepted Peyush’s offer, according to Yushika, if they were “greedy.” However, Jolly discovered a positive aspect of the hatred she had experienced. After the episode aired, their sales on the website and in a few specific markets virtually doubled.
Aman Gupta Supports Yushika Jolly
The co-founder of boAt, Aman Gupta, offered his support to Yushika and left a comment on her post. He mentioned how wonderful she was to her spouse as well. He added that the fact that this type of shark fight occurs in so few businesses demonstrate the strength of startups and entrepreneurs. Aman said that Yushika performed admirably and handled them responsibly for her customers and the company. The important thing is that, in the end. He continued by telling her not to listen to gossip because once you are in the public eye, people would say anything to attract attention. Aman also acknowledged the boost in sales as a source of happiness.
