Farzi Story

That’s when most of your issues arise and your life becomes a misery-fest. This is the focus of the web series Farzi. Shahid Kapoor’s character Sunny’s story is the base of Farzi. He is against the strict “rich grow richer and poor become poorer” social structure. He is also a great artist who creates exact replicas of well-known works of art. However, Sunny is unable to use his work to destroy the system.
He works alongside his friend Firoz at Sunny’s grandfather’s printing press. Bhuvan Arora portrays the character of Firoz. This printing facility publishes the independent Kranti magazine. Furthermore, Sunny uses his art for bad purposes due to a difficult situation. In a short time, he begins to make a lot of money. Sunny and Firoz also begin making fake currency to sell in the market. The rest of the show focuses on how they conduct business without being discovered.
Farzi Review
The series has proper planning and plotting. Furthermore, understanding the concept of counterfeiting is a major focus of the first part of the series. It starts to resemble a tutorial for people who aren’t familiar with the subject. It brought back memories of Money Heist to see Shahid rejoicing with piles of cash in the printing press scenes. Sunny also has the impression of being a fully mature character. He almost does all of the planning, strategizing, and execution by himself. Moving on, let’s talk about the performances. Farzi is a unique mixture of excellent performances. Moreover, Shahid makes his OTT debut with this series.
The actor also seemed to have embraced the medium wholeheartedly. He has a stage by Raj and DK to display his range of emotions. There were moments when his good looks made us drool. Additionally, there are times when you will also cheer for Shahid. We think he should explore more dark and grey characters because they fit him well. Furthermore, Vijay Sethupathi’s seamless performance in the series is not a surprise. With the series, he makes his Hindi film debut in addition to his OTT debut. Raj and DK depict Vijay’s voice humorously to show his linguistic difficulties.
Final Verdict
As usual, Raj & DK deliver excellent narratives and demonstrate once more why they are the finest in the industry. An enjoyable series to watch in one go over the weekend is Farzi.
