One of the most awaiting sequel Angrezi Medium arrives at the theatres. This is one of the most awaited Bollywood movies of 2020. It is a spin-off of the 2017 movie Hindi Medium. Irrfan Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Radhika Madan, Deepak Dobriyal, Kuku Sharda, Pankaj Tripathi, Dimple Kapadia, and Ranvir Shorey starer Angrezi Medium is a beautiful and heartwarming story based on a father-daughter relationship and will be a delight to watch.
Angrezi Medium Story
The story revolves around a single father Champak Bansal played by Irrfan Khan and his daughter Tarika Bansal portrayed by Radhika Madan. Champak is simple, and a small-town businessman who is a confectioner and one of the owner’s of Ghasitaram Sweet Shop Chain in Udaipur. Champak ‘s daily routine starts with daily bickering with his cousin Gopi Bansal played by Deepak Dobriyal for the name of confectionery, He cares for his daughter too much.
Tarika has big dreams and does not want to limit them in Udaipur. Tarika graduates from high school and wants to explore and study abroad. She wants to do education from a university in London. Champak always tries to fulfill his daughter’s wishes. Things get turned when he got to know about the hefty fees for education abroad. Champak vows that he will do anything it takes to send his daughter to study abroad. How will he succeed? Will, he able to pay the hefty fees? Watch out the movie for the unconditional love of a father for his daughter.
Angrezi Medium Review
This is Irrfan Khan’s comeback movie after treatment. He was unable to do the promotions of the movie due to health issues. Talking about the acting, Irrfan Khan is one such actor who has his own style and dialogue delivery. The way he performs every scene is outstanding. Radhika Madan as a daughter did a splendid job along with other characters.
Deepak Dobriyal comic timing is impressive and fits in the role of Gopi Bansal. Kareena Kapoor Khan played the role of Naina Kohli as a cop in London did justice with her role. The supporting cast also justifies their role. The backbone of the movie is its story that shows how a father crosses all the obstacles and hurdles for his daughter. Gaurav Shukla, Sara Bodinar, Bhavesh Mandalia, and Vinay Chhawall penned down the script of Angrezi Medium. The story of the movie has humor, emotions and lots of comedy that will entertain you surely. Director Homi Adajania knows how to put the emotions and comedy in the story. He hits the right chords with Angrezi Medium. The music is above average with songs Ek Jindari Meri has motivational lyrics.
