In today’s Anupama episode for September 17, 2023, Pakhi sits by Malti Devi’s side as she slumbers and overhears her murmuring over her lost son. Due to an unidentified uneasiness that he is also unsure about, Anuj confides in Anupama that he is concerned by Malti Devi living with them in the same home. Anuj responds that he no longer wants Malti Devi to live with them despite Anupama’s advice to quit worrying and remain calm. Anupama responds that it will only take a few days when she hears Anuj’s unexpected, strong opposition to Malti Devi. Hasmukh’s Advice
As Hasmukh returns from the outside, Leela greets him and advises him not to work too hard by himself because he is aging quite a bit. Hasmukh claims that he hardly ever works anything and merely visits parks to read stories to kids in exchange for payment from their parents. Leela asks Hasmukh how much he makes, and Hasmukh responds that even if it isn’t much, he enjoys doing it since he views it as his earned income.
According to Hasmukh, as long as a person is physically fit, they should work what they enjoy rather than become a burden after retirement. Leela responds to Hasmukh’s inquiry about everyone by saying that everyone has left for work and Kavya is relaxing in her room.
Anupama explains to Pakhi that if there are issues in a marriage and a person cannot change as quickly as she believes Adhik can, it is not a terrible idea to seek counsel. Pakhi accepts Anupama’s recommendation and recognizes that efforts alone won’t suffice to repair her marriage; understanding is also required.
Leela Is Unconcious
In a different location, Hasmukh contacts Leela and requests that she take a little break. When he does not receive a response, he rushes to the kitchen and is horrified to discover Leela on the floor. As soon as she hears the screaming, Kavya responds by opening the windows, which causes the smoke from the burned dish to dissipate.
Hasmukh thanks Kavya for her assistance during the crisis as Vanraj reassures him that they will take care of Leela’s blood pressure issue. As Leela begins to feel better, she overhears Kavya thanking her for caring for her and is moved to tears.
Anupama Visits Gurukul
On the other hand, Anupama visits the Gurukul to collect Malti Devi’s stuff and takes an attaché case, where she discovers items pertaining to Malti Devi’s background. When Anupama receives a message from Anuj inquiring when she is returning, she discovers a birth certificate of someone who appears to be Malti Devi’s son.
