The Kapadia family is stunned at the beginning of today’s Anupama 18th December 2023 program. Anu continues by pointing out that Anupama put Kinjal and Pari before herself. Hugging Anuj, Anu says that Anupama left her inside the car to die on her own while attempting to persuade Anu that she had to do it to save everyone. Anu claims that because they are blood-related, Anupama does not love her as much as Pari, and Anuj stands there looking astonished. Anu makes it apparent that she has been abandoned and disregarded by her, despite Anupama’s assurances that there is nothing like her thinking. Malti Devi says that Anu is speaking the truth. However, Anupama soon shuts her up and states that she should refrain from escalating the conflict by speaking negatively.

Anuj Supports Anu
After shouting for everyone to stop talking and telling Anu that he is not upset with her, Anuj tells her to go to her room and that he will see her later. Anupama informs Anuj that Anu does not comprehend the circumstances and that her behavior results from panic.
Anuj says he has no idea what she was going through then, but he speculates that Anupama may have unconsciously given Pari more importance than Anu. When Anupama hears Anuj, she is taken aback and remarks that she is being investigated for the deed that has garnered praise from others and saved lives. She explains that a mother is unable to choose between her children.
With a sigh, Anuj says that he never questioned her parenting or love for Anu because he knows she is willing to sacrifice her life for Anu.
Anuj Compares His relationship
When Anupama inquires about Anuj’s thoughts, he responds candidly, sharing that his three years of marriage to her always pales in comparison to his 26 years of relationship with the Shahs. Anuj continues, saying that Anupama has become accustomed to the Shah family and believes that problems can only be resolved there if she visits them.
Even so, Anuj emphasizes how he has always stood by her in all of her endeavors because he understands how devoted Anupama is to them, even if Anupama has never distinguished her past and present.
Anupama Questions Anuj
Anupama asks Anuj why he has never drawn a line in the face of Malti Devi and Barkha’s incessant plotting and planning against her. She further questions why the wife’s family is subject to separate norms.
When Anupama does not even acknowledge Malti Devi as his mother, Anuj reminds her that she brought Malti Devi and that settling their differences is not his job.
Anuj questions Anupama’s unwavering concern for the Shahs and brings up some previous instances in which Anupama decided to be with the Shahs rather than her current family.
When Anupama asks him if he believes that she does not notice him and Anu the way she should, Anuj responds that they need her too sometimes but do not get her attention.
