Today’s Anupama 20th December 2023 episode begins with a 5-year leap with the scenario shifting to Vadodara. A kid arrives at a house to bring groceries and milk. A worried woman opens the door gently to collect the items from him. The youngster claims that Miss Joshi brightens his day by preparing her chocolates every day, following which the woman hands him the bag of lunchboxes for the elderly ladies at the nursing home. The woman shuts the door without displaying her face, and the youngster wonders why Miss Joshi never shows her face to others. Miss Joshi is revealed to be Anupama, who stays alone in the residence. Changed Scenario At The “Shahs”
Meanwhile, the Shah mansion has undergone significant alteration, with the house being refurbished into a more glorious version and Vanraj appearing with his tablet to discuss office business. Leela swings in her swing with her great-grandson, Ansh, Dimpy’s small kid, while keeping an eye on Dimpy in the kitchen. Dimpy brings the tea but Leela insults her and refuses to take the cup while ignoring Dimpy who waits in front of her. Ansh approaches Vanraj and tells him he doesn’t want to attend school. Vanraj responds that Ansh may do anything he wishes.
Hasmukh Talks About Anupama
Dimpy claims that Ansh does not do his schoolwork, so his teacher summoned his parents to the school. Ansh informs Vanraj that he does things, but there is some leftover on the last day. Hasmukh suggests they reproach Ansh a little more because he grows naughtier daily. Vanraj remarks that Ansh is not at fault and will attend the meeting as usual. Vanraj urges Kavya and Dimpy to prepare for the following day’s puja. Hasmukh requests that they invite Anupama, which silences everyone. Leela claims that they have had no contact with Anupama for the past five years and that they should not inquire about her.
Anupama After Divorce
Meanwhile, Anupama is portrayed as the owner of a well-known YouTube cooking channel, where she demonstrates a traditional dish from her lonesome kitchen. A knock on her door made her uneasy, but she soon answered it when she heard Devika’s voice outside. Devika enters and embraces Anupama before asking her to leave the cage-like house and go to America, where she finds Anupama a restaurant job. Anupama maintains she is content with her life, whereas Devika claims that Anupama’s world did not stop with Anuj and her divorce.
Devika And Hasmukh’s Conversation
When Dimpy asks Kavya to call her kid back from the dormitory, Kavya advises Dimpy to get together with someone, reminding her of Tapesh. Devika claims Anupama will leave the next day to accomplish her ambition of visiting America, but Anupama does not appear confident. Later, Devika informs Hasmukh about her encounter with Anupama. Hasmukh adds that Anupama would travel to America because it has been calling her for years.
