The Anupama episode from today, October 23, 2023, opens with Devika hurrying back to the cafe after realizing she left her AirPods there. After finishing her tea, Anupama tells Anuj that she hopes she will experience the same sense of relief that a tiny cup of tea may bring to an ordinary person when the matter is resolved in their favor. Anuj assures Anupama that they will use every resource at their disposal to win the lawsuit and that she will have the comfort she has been denied since Samar’s passing.

Anupama And Anuj
Anuj tells Anupama that he will be by her side throughout the war and never abandon her. He is momentarily shocked when she clasps his hands in hers; he has longed to feel Anupama’s touch since their miscommunication caused their distance to grow. Anuj takes a deep breath as Anupama puts her hands in his. He then slowly leans on Anupama’s shoulders, breathing deeply as relief fills his heart.
Anupama acknowledges that she still loves Anuj greatly and says that Anuj can be upset with her at this point.
The Deathly Move
When Suresh Rathore arrives and begins making fun of Anupama for dating her husband when her son hasn’t been dead for more than a month, Anuj questions Anupama about why she made the decision to take action. Suresh claims that since his kid will be released the following day and the hearing is merely a formality, he must have done good actions in a prior life. After hearing Suresh’s foolish remarks, Anupama becomes furious and hurls her slipper at him. She then threatens to beat him up if he dares to make a similar joke in court the following day. Anupama becomes worried because she thinks Anuj is in danger when Suresh looks at him and instructs her to monitor what he does.
Later, when Anuj, Anupama, and Devika are driving home, a pin that has been placed on the road unexpectedly punctures the tire. Anuj claims that Suresh Rathore must have done it when a gang of men approached them, and he got stabbed in the stomach, causing Anupama to cry in terror. They return home after discovering that the entire scene was Anupama’s dream, making her anxious for Anuj’s safety.
Malti Devi Is Against Anupama
When a masked man breaks into Anuj and Anupama’s room in the middle of the night to attack Anuj, Anupama uses a stick to strike the intruder in the head. The man is taken by the police to confess, and they advise the couple to use caution until they get to court. Malti Devi advises Anuj not to go to court the following day. However, Anuj asks Malti Devi to sympathize with Anupama because she considers herself a mother.
Malti Devi is asked to quit displaying her instantaneous enlightened parenting by Devika since Anuj would not immediately fall in love with the woman who left him, and life is not that simple. Malti Devi says that even though Anupama is Anuj’s wife, she doesn’t care about Anuj’s safety.
