Anuj Questions Malti Devi
In the meantime, Anuj asks Malti Devi and Barkha if they have read the previous headlines of the newspaper, which surprises them. Anuj remarks that they don’t appear to be able to let go of the deeds of others in the past and reminds Malti Devi in particular that he seems to be attempting to forget that she abandoned him in the past. He explains that he is the one who introduced Leela and Hasmukh into the house and that he wishes they may live there with dignity. Malti Devi laments about what Leela has said to her, to which Anuj responds that he understands every insult they offer to others.
Relieved Anupama
Anupama and Dimpy come from the police station, and Anupama is relieved since those males have admitted to posting that phony video and an FIR has also been filed. Dimpy praises Anupama for being at her side and asks whether she genuinely trusts her. Anupama responds that Dimpy should have entire faith in herself. She emphasizes that Dimpy should boldly ask her to trust in her because she has done no wrong, which motivates Dimpy. Anupama requests that Dimpy make the situation normal again by apologizing to the person she mistreated previously in her rage.
Anuj Apologizes
At the same time, Anuj speaks to Leela and Hasmukh, telling them they should constantly smile since it looks nice. He apologizes on behalf of Malti Devi and Barkha, promising Leela that he would do everything he can to ensure that such conduct does not occur again in the house, but he cannot guarantee it fully.
The American Neighbour
Anupama calls Anuj and goes home when she receives a flier from America. She runs into one of her former neighbors who recently returned from America. When the neighbor suggests that Anupama visit America once, she responds that she and America have a horrible relationship and cannot see America again.
