Anuj and Anupama finish their Ganesh Puja shopping in today’s Anupama episode of September 26, 2023, after which Anuj returns to the store to obtain his card. Anupama phones Hasmukh and confides in him about their mental struggle. She explains to him how Anuj has shielded his heart and won’t listen to anyone. As Anupama apologizes for abdicating Malti Devi’s obligation to them, Hasmukh clarifies that he alone decided to welcome Malti Devi into their home. Anupama tells Hasmukh that she remembers everything well from the memorable day they visited Anuj’s residence for the first time.

Anupama Advices Pakhi
Later, as everyone gets ready for the puja the following day and Anuj constructs the idol by hand, Anupama observes Pakhi mediating between Adhik and Romil as they argue distantly. Anu argues that youngsters receive greater affection from Lord Ganesha, and Anuj responds that he had also heard this as a child at the ashram before he cuts himself off in mid-sentence.
When Barkha is shocked to hear Pakhi, she asks whether she and Adhik are considering having a child, to which Pakhi responds that she is thinking about it. Barkha advises Pakhi that she and Adhik are too young to become parents and should instead focus on their careers as he gives her a disapproving look. Pakhi claims that she and Adhik will make the ultimate decision and that she is healthy enough both physically and emotionally to bear children.
Anuj laughs when Anu shifts the topic of conversation and says that she will indulge in a lot of sweets to remember the puja.
Celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi
After seeing Malti Devi praying to God at night to be reunited with her son and atone for her error, Leela remarks that Anuj would have similarly prayed to God for years. Even if Malti Devi no longer deserves a son, Leela declares that she will hope to God that Malti Devi can love her son, as Anuj deserves a mother for himself.
The next day, Anuj brings the Lord Ganesha statue that was covered with his own hands and places it on the pedestal of the puja location. Everyone is in awe as the idol’s face then emerges.
For the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, Vanraj, Anuj, and the rest of the family begin dancing together.
Samar stumbles and is about to strike his head on the candle stand when Anupama saves him just in time while everyone looks on in shock. Samar assures Anupama that he is fine before the dance picks back up, and everyone appears to be content.
