Anupama and Anuj arrive at the police station to file a complaint against Adhik in today’s Anupama episode of September 8, 2023. While Anupama continues to experience a nervous breakdown, Anuj claims that he has spoken with the ACP and promised that the police will take decisive action over the problem. Anuj tells her to stop sobbing because she needs to be vital for the entire Shah family, but Anupama responds that Adhik has wronged Pakhi.

The Family Blames Adhik
Adhik, who had earlier lied about Pakhi being with him, storms up to Romil and demands to know where Pakhi is. Romil keeps a calm demeanor and tells Adhik to quit appearing worried because otherwise, no one would trust him and view him as the primary villain for his actions. Adhik claims he would report Romil to the police. Romil responds that he will inform the authorities of the violence Adhik perpetrated with Pakhi, ensuring that Adhik is sent behind bars.
As Samar and Toshu stand nearby, Vanraj suddenly appears and grabs Adhik by the collar, demanding that he divulge where Pakhi is and what he has done with her. Adhik is alarmed by Vanraj’s menacing demeanor and declares that he knows nothing about Pakhi, but Vanraj maintains his composure and presses Adhik once more to explain.
When Barkha arrives, she tells Vanraj to leave Adhik because Pakhi hasn’t come to the Shah residence yet, and it’s not their fault she couldn’t get there after leaving the Kapadia mansion.
Adhik Blames Anupama
Vanraj threatens to kill Adhik if anything happens to Pakhi, but Adhik counters that it might be Anupama’s fault as Pakhi warns her that she will take severe measures the day before. Anupama says she is the one who filed the complaint because she needs her daughter back when Anuj and Anupama both show up.
Adhik is not a person who would do such a thing. Therefore, Barkha asks Anupama to withdraw her accusation. However, Anupama refuses, and the police take Adhik with them. Anupama explains to Anuj that she needs her daughter as soon as possible and is experiencing this moment while on the verge of passing out due to one of her mistakes.
Vanraj’s Take On The Matter
Vanraj speculates that Anupama may be to blame for Pakhi’s disappearance since she put too much pressure on Pakhi by interfering in her marriage. Anupama responds to whether she was expected to witness the violence in silence by reprimanding her for pushing Pakhi a little too hard. She further asks Vanraj why he didn’t act as the parent and tells Pakhi about the problem as he doubts Anupama’s obligations.
Anupama asserts that she acted on her moral convictions and that love can go when a man chooses to make a solid touch to a woman’s face.
Vanraj claims he is not criticizing Anupama, but he does want to point out that she shouldn’t have put so much pressure on Pakhi. In response, Anupama claims her only mistake was delaying calling the police.
Anuj tries to control Anupama by keeping her from falling to the ground as she screams that she is not a mother who wants to ruin her daughter’s life.
