Azaad will mark the Bollywood debut of Rasha Thadani and Aaman Devgan. Raasha is the daughter of popular Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon. She is opposite to Aaman Devgn, nephew of the famous actor Ajay Devgn. The trailer for Azaad was released today on Monday, January 6. It has already generated flutter. It is directed by Abhishek Kapoor, who has made films like Kai Po Che, Kedarnath, Rock On, and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. Azaad is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor, under RSVP Movies and Guy In The Sky Pictures.

The 2-minute-43-second Azaad trailer portrays the journey of a young man Aaman who likes the majestic black horse named Azaad. The horse belongs to rebel Vikram Singh portrayed by Ajay Devgn. From the trailer, it seems, Rasha Thadani is playing the role of a girl from a royal family. The trailer has some romantic and dance sequences that show the chemistry between the two leads.
Aaman joins Vikram Singh in his rebellious cause to fight against the evil and corrupt Zamindars. Piyush Mishra is seen as an antagonist. Diana Penty has a blink-and-miss appearance in a trailer. She is playing the role of Ajay Devgn’s love interest. The trailer leaves with a question, Will Aaman and Azaad be friends?

Debutant Aaman Devgan and Rasha Thadani look good in the trailer. Ajay Devgn as rebel Vikram Singh is intense. But the majestic horse Azaad steals the limelight in the trailer. However, the trailer does not reveal the story much. The background score is good. The trailer showcases that the film is set in the pre-Independence period and concerns some people in a village struggling for freedom.
The audience wants to see more of Rasha Thadani and Aaman Devgan’s chemistry and this is where the trailer lacks spark. As though the chemistry between the duo is graceful but not very appealing in the trailer.
