It takes a lot to end a relationship that, at one point in your life, made you feel cherished and cared for. No relationship deserves to end abruptly, but it’s crucial for all sides to receive a satisfying closure. When all emotions have been exhausted, and there are none left, dragging out a relationship makes no sense. Actors Barkha Bisht and Indraneil Sengupta’s divorce has been confirmed after two years of living apart. Barkha, who up until this point had kept her marital status a secret, has finally spoken out about the reports of their divorce, calling it one of the “toughest decisions of her life.“
Although Barkha withheld the details of their divorce, the actor did say that her daughter remained her top focus. Talking to ETimes, she said,
“I am a single mother, and Meira is my priority. On the work front, I have been doing interesting projects in the OTT space. I am open to good projects in TV and films, too.”
On the sets of the TV program Pyaar Ke Do Naam – Ek Radha Ek Shyam, Barkha and Indraneil first connected and started dating. Before getting married in March 2008, they participated in the dance-based reality series Nach Baliye 3 in 2007. The ex-couple has an 11-year-old daughter Meira. However, Barkha recently disclosed that the couple had decided to divorce after 13 years of marriage.

Indraneil Sengupta previously talked openly about how allegations about his personal life hurt him in an interview with India Today. He admitted that he makes an effort to keep his personal life and public persona apart, even if the frequent intrusion has no negative effects on him.
“The basic problem with the constant involvement of people in your life is something that happens because celebrities let that happen. I have never let that happen, honestly. Personally, I can talk about myself only. I try and religiously follow that my work is for public consumption, but my private life is not. My life is not for public consumption.”
Indraneil Sengupta was last seen in the film Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga, starring Yami Gautam and Sunny Kaushal. While Barkha Bisht worked in OTT shows like Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala opposite Rajiv Khandelwal and Divyanka Tripathi and Mukhbir – The Story of a Spy.
