In the opening scene of the Bhagya Lakshmi episode for August 23, 2023, Lakshmi recalls her father’s comments while Shalu and Bani continue to be angry with her. Lakshmi prompts them to remember when their father instructed them to always put other people’s feelings before their own. She talks about how Rishi was being distracted by her and was causing problems for Malishka, which Lakshmi could never allow. Shalu and Bani advise her to consider herself as well, but Lakshmi interrupts them and says it would be best if they moved on from her relationship with Rishi quickly.

Malishka Is Jealous
Malishka, on the other hand, is jealous of Lakshmi since Harleen complimented her in front of her and showed sorrow. Karishma sees Neelam getting ready to leave the house with her baggage bags because she anticipated Rishi to bring Lakshmi home anyhow when she quickly informs Neelam of the good news.

The beginning of the upcoming episode has Kiran urging Malishka to visit Rishi since it will be her chance to comfort him and win his affection. Malishka is eager to do so. Rishi rises up, startled, and requests Malishka to stop talking nonsense because Lakshmi will always have a special place in his heart. Malishka urges him to terminate Lakshmi’s chapter in his life and begin a new one with her.
Neelam promises that this time, she won’t allow anything to stand in the way of Rishi and Malishka’s marriage as she instructs Rishi to take Malishka shopping for jewels. Lakshmi, who has just begun working there, notices Rishi and Malishka approaching the jewelry store, and she makes preparations to leave.
While Ayushman Khurana stands outside the jewelry store, Rishi talks to him about his love for Lakshmi. Later, Rishi confesses to Neelam his undying love for Lakshmi and assures her that just though he is now holding Malishka’s hand doesn’t mean he would forget Lakshmi. Malishka hears this right then and is furious.
