The 27th August 2023 episode of Bhagya Lakshmi begins with Rishi pulling away from the hug after learning that Lakshmi hasn’t returned to stay with him. Rishi inquires what Lakshmi intends by that statement, to which Lakshmi says that she came to Rishi’s residence to inform him that she would not return to him and that he ought to move on. Hearing this, Rishi declares that he is skeptical of what Lakshmi said and that he can’t survive without her since he adores her with all his heart. Lakshmi insists Rishi’s life would not fall apart if she refused to remain with him, to which Rishi responds angrily that his existence now centers around her.

Broken Hearts
Rishi shows Lakshmi that he has designed the room according to her preferences, but Lakshmi conceals her emotions and does not allow Rishi to trigger them. Rishi acknowledges that he has hurt Lakshmi in the past but has grown in love with her and struggles with living apart from her. Lakshmi warns Rishi that she is no longer a part of his life and that he should go on at some point, giving somebody else a special place in his heart. Hearing Lakshmi’s remarks, Rishi looks devastated and says he would do what she wishes, but he hopes to know how Lakshmi feels about him. Rishi wants Lakshmi to express to him how she thinks about him in the same way as he revealed his affection to her, which will support him for the rest of his life.
Harleen Is Sad
In the meantime, Harleen sits in her room and expresses her sadness at learning that Lakshmi will no longer return to the house when Ayush and Virendra join her. Virendra suggests that they devise a strategy to guarantee that Lakshmi never leaves home, to which Ayush complies and expresses surprise at Lakshmi coming back to say her final goodbye in such a manner.
Malishka Gets Negative
Malishka, meantime, keeps ranting about the fact that Lakshmi waisn’t returning from Rishi’s room when she was supposed to in two minutes and how Lakshmi must’ve held to Rishi by now. When Neelam tells Malishka to quit speaking and stop being so negative, she claims there is no other option than giving up her life. Karishma requests that Malishka go to Rishi’s room and get Lakshmi, but Malishka responds that Harleen asked her to leave them together for a while. When Malishka walks upstairs to check on Rishi and Lakshmi, Neelam promises that they will take care of Harleen.
Words Left Unspoken
Simultaneously, Rishi tells Lakshmi that he wishes to hear “I love you” from her once before marrying Malishka and living his life with Lakshmi’s affection. Lakshmi initially ponders and informs Rishi that his character makes everybody fall infatuated with him, but Rishi questions her more. Malishka arrives just as Lakshmi proclaims her love to Rishi, saying that she must prepare to go if Lakshmi has dropped the treats. Malishka expresses how Lakshmi desires her and Rishi to be joyful after their marriage and purposefully grabs Rishi’s arm. Lakshmi exits the room as Malishka guides her on the way outside, and Rishi laments, not hearing the anticipated outcome.
