The October 8, 2023, episode of Bhagya Lakshmi begins with Virendra speaking to Rishi when Ayush enters the cabin and greets them. Ayush questions Rishi if he will call his brother Sir, and Rishi responds by calling Ayush Sir, making Ayush unhappy. Ayush complains to Virendra and requests Rishi to never act like that with him again since they will always be brothers with the tightest and most pure relationship.

Virendra’s Advice To Rishi
When Virendra inquires about Rishi’s marriage to Lakshmi, Rishi responds that he is attempting to persuade Lakshmi to say yes to him, but she isn’t ready. Virendra believes that Rishi and Lakshmi should marry as soon as possible, or else Neelam will do all in her power to separate them. When Virendra tells him to grab the opportunity and make his love his own, Rishi realizes the situation. Ayush claims that Malishka is already referring to Neelam as her mother, which is why he has disliked Malishka since the day she entered their life.
Neelam Meets Lakshmi
In the meantime, Neelam contacts Lakshmi and asks her to meet her somewhere else than where she and Rishi are living. Karishma overhears Neelam speaking as she walks away, which gives her faith that Lakshmi will leave Rishi and Malishka’s life permanently. Lakshmi arrives at a restaurant to see Neelam, and Neelam invites her to have a seat. To cut to the chase, Neelam declares that she doesn’t want Lakshmi to remain in Rishi’s life and to flee to a place where no one knows where to find her.
Neelam Bribes Lakshmi
Neelam declares that she is willing to offer Lakshmi whatever amount of cash or property that she desires, but she wouldn’t like to see her sticking to Rishi. She comments that Mothers are capable of doing anything for their children’s pleasure and are ready to go to any length it takes them to keep their children secure after witnessing a mother reprimanding her child. Lakshmi needs to go since she has Rishi in her hands, and Neelam informs her that Rishi will only marry Malishka. Although Lakshmi claims to appreciate Neelam as much as her mother, Neelam is triggered when she asks whether she will leave Rishi in exchange for money.
Lakshmi’s Care For Rishi
When Neelam asks Lakshmi if she loves Rishi, Lakshmi responds negatively. She then goes on to say that love is also a pure connection. Lakshmi points out to Neelam that Rishi is really in love with her and that she cannot simply walk away from the man who gave up everything and his family for a relationship with her. Lakshmi declares that she will leave Rishi’s life only if he consents to go back to his family and live a happy life since she just wants Rishi to be happy.
Happy Malishka
Malishka is relieved to learn that Neelam has gone to speak with Lakshmi, and Karishma tells her that her and Rishi’s marriage must happen the next day. She thinks she will believe it when it happens since her dream is always unfinished.
