In the meantime, Paro watches Lakshmi caring for Rohan as he has hiccups, which makes her envious again because she is Lakshmi’s only daughter and deserves all her attention. After eating, Rohan approaches Paro to play, but she turns away, perplexing Rohan. Paro claims that Rohan is attempting to take her mother away from her, to which Rohan responds that they may share Lakshmi’s affection as siblings do. Rohan informs Paro that he will ask his father to love her in the same manner as Lakshmi does, which makes Paro happy.

The next episode begins with Paro feeling content after hearing Rohan’s commitment, but she quickly realizes that Rishi isn’t there to love her as a father, while Rohan has all of Lakshmi’s care. Rohan expresses his feelings for Lakshmi and promises to return her love, which enrages Paro and causes her and Rohan to fight. Shalu and Lakshmi intervene to stop the children from fighting and divide them, after which Shalu informs Lakshmi that they must teach the children a lesson the hard way.
