The Bhagya Lakshmi episode for today, January 3, 2024, opens with the patients enjoying some fresh air as Lakshmi runs into a lady who appears to be a ghost in an attempt to frighten her. The nurses discuss that although it is risky for the patients to be released, they require some time outdoors because they are always imprisoned. When the nurse notices that Lakshmi acts like a child, she is fearless and capable of anything when called upon. Lakshmi then tells the lady to leave her alone or else she will fight her.

Frustrated Malishka
As Malishka is getting ready for her plan to go through, the nurse asks the woman to move aside. Sonal then approached her and explained that she had to seek confirmation from Malishka about the same issue. Sonal feels a little less relieved when Malishka claims she is not doing anything that would keep her facing allegations, but she also informs Malishka that what she did is a severe offense. Exasperated with the conversation, Malishka informs Sonal that she understands the risks involved and is acting cautiously to ensure that no one accuses her of being involved in the Lakshmi event.
Sonal Advises Malsihka
Sonal informs Malishka that Balwinder is the primary problem since he is a simpleton devoid of brains, while Lakshmi informs Sonal that Balwinder is the one carrying out everything. She advises Malishka not to grow overconfident in this situation, as she is doing according to plan. Rishi is no longer with her, perhaps posing the most significant hurdle to their journey. Sonal promises to continue with Malishka as Kiran has entrusted her with her care, but Malishka asks her to get enough rest since everything will work out.
Aayush Visits The Asylum
When Malishka arrives at the asylum, Ayush attempts to enter, but the guard forbids him. In a flashback, Sonal warns Malishka that Ayush may suspect something and take a potentially dangerous action. When Malishka realizes that Sonal is right, she phones the doctor and requests permission to meet Lakshmi. After telling Ayush that Balwinder shouldn’t approach her before seeing Lakshmi, Malishka advises Ayush that they should enter after a confrontation with the guard.
Relived Aayush
When the nurse takes Lakshmi to a room and tells her to behave well, Ayush, watching from outside, is happy that Lakshmi is secure.
Rishi Calls Reporter
When Malishka arrives at the Oberoi mansion, she is relieved that her plan has worked out and is taken aback to learn that Neelam believes Rishi may be in danger. Malishka interrupts Neelam just as she is ready to call the police, telling them not to confirm Rishi’s trouble since doing so will damage their reputation. In contrast, Rishi phones a reporter and informs him that he has breaking news for him after freeing himself from the ropes.
