Bhuj The Pride Of India stars Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sharad Kelkar, Ammy Virk, Nora Fatehi, Sonakshi Sinha, and Pranitha Subhash in pivotal roles. It is a periodic war drama movie based on the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War.

The movie revolves around the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War. Pakistan plans to destroy Bhuj Airstrip so that they can negotiate with India regarding Bangladesh (then East Pakistan). Nora Fatehi plays spy Heena Rehman in Pakistan. She sacrifices her life while providing inputs from Pakistan. The Pakistani troops destroy the Bhuj airstrip and also all the bridges connecting Kutch to India. This left with no contact to Kutch with other parts of India.
They plan to capture Bhuj Airbase. Pakistan deploys 100 tanks with 1800 soldiers to capture it. Sharad Kelkar, who played military officer RK Nair along with his team of 120 soldiers has the duty to stop them midway near Harami Nala. They also have Ranchordas Pagi played by Sanjay Dutt, who is an Indian Army scout.
The squadron leader Vijay Karnik played by Ajay Devgn is a commanding officer at Bhuj Air Base. His work is to repair the runway so that India can fight back. Vijay Karnik got help from nearby villagers led by Sunderben played by Sonakshi Sinha. Ammy Virk, who plays Flight Lieutenant decides to land the airforce plan at the Bhuj runway. Will the runaway completes within time? How India will stop Pakistan? Watch the movie to find out.
Bhuj The Pride Of India Review
Bhuj The Pride Of India works in patches. It has a running time of 1 hour and 54 minutes. The movie is fast-paced. The actress does not have enough work in the movie. Pranitha Subhash has played the role of Ajay Devgn’s wife Usha. Nora Fatehi with a mere 8 to 10 minutes of role, stands out. She is terrific with her actions and dialogues. It is Nora’s best performance to date. Ajay Devgn, Ammy Virk, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, and Sharad Kelkar performed their roles well.
Bhuj The Pride Of India is directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya. It has stunning visuals and amazing aerial warfare. The aerial warfare scenes are outstanding and will mesmerize you. The story works fast and in patches. The second half is thrilling. The climax is terrific. Overall, Bhuj The Pride Of India is a mass entertainer and should have got a theatrical release. We give Bhuj The Pride Of India 3.5 stars out of 5.
