It is considered that women cannot work during their pregnancy period. Well, many Bollywood moms were pregnant during the shooting period. But still, they managed to pull it off while eventually setting examples that pregnancy can’t affect their work skills. Today we have brought you the list of Bollywood moms who worked during pregnancy in the movies.
1. Juhi Chawla – Aamdani Atthani Kharchaa Rupaiyaa And Jhankaar Beats
Juhi Chawla did two movies during pregnancy. First, she did Aamdani Atthani Kharchaa Rupaiyaa, she was in her earlier phase of pregnancy at that time. However, she was 7 months pregnant when she worked in the movie “Jhankaar Beats”.
2. Kareena Kapoor Khan – Veere Di Wedding
Kareena Kapoor did many photoshoots flaunting her baby bump. Moreover, she walked the ramp at the Lakme Fashion Week with the baby bump. On top of that, she worked on the movie “Veere Di Wedding” which will be released in June 2018. She has proved that the pregnancy cannot affect your work.
3. Jaya Bachchan – Sholay
We all know that Jaya Bachchan played the role of a widow in Sholay. But, few of us are aware that she was three months pregnant during the movie’s shooting. She was carrying her first child, Shweta, in her womb and still performed like a boss.
4. Sridevi – Judaai
Sridevi is also in the list of Bollywood moms who refused to step back from work just because of pregnancy. While shooting for “Judaai” she was pregnant with her first daughter “Jhanvi”.
5. Kajol – We Are Family
Kajol was pregnant with her second child (Yug) during the shooting of her movie, “We Are Family”. She did not let the pregnancy hinder her work. She completed the shoot and after that worked in the promotion of the movie.
6. Hema Malini – Razia Sultan
In an interview in Aap Ki Adalat, Hema Malini revealed that she was pregnant with her first child (Esha Deol) during the shoot of Razia Sultan. This was not the only struggle she had to go through, she had to ride the camel in parching heat. Her dedication to her work is amazing.
