The famous rapper was sentenced to a year and a day in 2005 for lying to the federal jury about her friends’ involvement in a shootout near a Manhattan radio station in 2001. She was also fined $50,000.

During a corporate fraud investigation in 2004, the famous Chef and TV personality served in jail for five months for the charges of conspiracy, obstruction of justice and giving false statements to the authority.
3. Lindsey Lohan
The actor/singer is no new to controversies. She pleads guilty to driving under the influence of cocaine and was sentenced to a day in jail and 10 days of community service and three years of probation.
4. OJ Simpson
OJ Simpson had been in the news for all the wrong reasons, the majority of which that landed him in jail was on the charges of kidnapping and robbing two sports memorabilia dealers at gunpoint in a hotel room at Las Vegas.
5. Robert Downey Jr.

Curtis Jackson has spent about six months in prison for the possession of crack cocaine. Heroin and a starter gun in 1994. He later took up his nickname “50 Cents” as a metaphor for his change.

In 2007 the Fast and Furious star failed to complete her community service hours following a DUI and so was sentenced to serve 18 days in jail, which she did.
10. Paul McCartney
The famous Paul McCartney of Beatles was arrested for the possession of Marijuana in Japan for a period of nine days in the year 1980.
