Chehre Review
This is the first time Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi collaborated. Director Rumi Jafry has some amazing and veteran starcast to make something exceptional. However, it is the script that falls short. Amitabh Bachchan once again proves why he is Shehenshaah of Bollywood even at this age. His monologue was just amazing.
Emraan Hashmi once again proved why he had been rated so high. Both Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi delivers stellar performances. The movie is heavy on dialogue. Krystle D’Souza looks glamorous in her debut movie. Rhea Chakraborty has nothing much to do in the film.
The story leaves a lot of questions unanswered. This is where Chehre becomes a good film instead of the memorable one. The background score from Clinton Cerejo fits perfectly in every scene. The cinematography is amazing. Director Rumi Jafry tried his best, but somewhere it fell short. However, if you are Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi’s fan, you will enjoy this thriller. We give 3 stars out of 5.
