The story is based on the 1982 Hindi film ‘Angoor.’ In turn, it was a rough adaptation of William Shakespeare’s play “The Comedy of Errors.” In addition, Ranveer and Varun will play dual roles in the movie. Ranveer Singh plays an electric man who works in a circus in the trailer, which lasts 3 minutes and 39 seconds. He and Varun Sharma both have doppelganger issues. Furthermore, the film is set in the 1960s and is shot primarily indoors due to Rohit Shetty’s creation of period sets. The trailer video also includes a preview of the song ‘Current Laga re.’

Cirkus Trailer Review

The close-to-four-minute trailer video takes viewers to the 1960s, where a strong cast rides on comedy. Ranveer Singh’s dual role and stage performance of electrifying stunts are commendable. Furthermore, Johnny Lever and Sanjay Mishra’s one-liners add to the film’s appeal. The actors’ larger-than-life screen presence will make you fall in love with old-fashioned humor.

The trailer is engaging and upbeat, promising “four times the enjoyment.” Johny Lever appears to be in top form, and Sanjay Mishra adds to the trailer’s appeal. Cirkus, like every other Rohit Shetty film, provides the audience with a complete package of humor, action, dance, and music.

The film will arrive in theatres globally on December 23, 2022. Cirkus is Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty’s third collaboration. The pair initially collaborated on the 2018 film Simmba. They also worked together in Sooryavanshi, where Ranveer had an extended cameo. The film is significant for Ranveer because his last two films, ‘83‘ and ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar,’ did not perform well at the box office.
