Crew Movie Review
Crew is a movie that maintains a good balance between a friendly comedy and a complicated heist. Here, the main focus is on developing the characters and not complicating the plot more. Additionally, every main character in the movie has a backstory to tell, which allows the audience to connect with them easily. The three lead characters have excellent chemistry. Moreover, their success is surely due to the exceptional work done by the narrative writers.
Nidhi Mehra does a good job of making the characters feel relatable. It also depicts funny and powerful women in an unlikely situation, letting the movie flow well. However, in a few scenes, the writing might seem a bit rushed. Additionally, the editing work is also just perfect. Meanwhile, special mention to director Rajesh Krishnan for crafting an engaging and crisp narrative. It will keep you glued to the screens and will surely entertain you. The soundtrack of the movie is also brilliant and suits the situation in the movie.
Furthermore, performance-wise, Tabu, in her role, is brilliant and easily pulls off one of the main characters in the movie. However, seeing Kareena and Kriti handle the bold and fearless role with such perfection is just mind-blowing. Additionally, the other main characters also add depth to their respective roles. Diljit Dosanjh is efficient in his role, and Kapil Sharma will make you laugh, too. Moreover, Rajesh Sharma and Trupti Khamkar are also too good in their roles.
Final Verdict
All in all, Crew is a new concept in Bollywood. Its comedy and witty one-liners are surely not to be missed. The three main protagonists are fantastic. Additionally, everything combined makes this film a must-watch on the big screen. We rate this movie 4 out of 5 stars.
