Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone are coming together for the first time in the upcoming movie Fighter. Deepika Padukone has some interesting projects lined up with Gehraiyaan releasing next month, followed by Pathan starring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, and Fighter opposite Hrithik Roshan. Siddharth Anand is directing Fighter and it is for the first time Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone will be seen together on a big screen. The audience is super excited to see them together. Fighter was announced last year and it will be India’s first aerial action film.
In a recent interview, Deepika Padukone finally opens up about working with Hrithik Roshan. Talking to Bollywood Hungama, when asked about the chemistry with Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone replied with a smile, ‘Have you seen us?’ She stated,
“I have always wanted to work with him, I feel like, you know sometimes it’s not just about wanting to work with someone, I just feel like there are so many things, it has to be the right script, it has to be the right director, it has to be the right time in your life. There are so many things that decide, so yeah, I guess it’s the right time for us to come together.”
Fighter was supposed to release on September 30, 2022. However, now, Hrithik Roshan another film Vikram Vedha will be released on the same date. As per the reports, Fighter has been shifted to 2023.
Deepika Padukone is busy promoting her upcoming film Gehraiyaan also starring Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ananya Panday. It is directed by Shakun Batra and is all set to release on Amazon Prime Video on February 11, 2022.
