After sharing five years of such a strong relationship, the couple is finally ready to make commitments to each other. Without a doubt, Ranveer and Deepika are most loved Jodi we have today in Bollywood.
Wedding Plans Discussion
As per sources, there were talks about Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s marriage started in January, before the release of their film Padmaavat. Their parents had met to discuss the wedding ceremonies. Ranveer’s parents also gifted a Sabyasachi saree to their would-be daughter-in-law.
Dates For The Big Day
According to the sources, the families have decided, or shortlisted upon 4 auspicious dates between the months of September and December 2018 for the duo’s wedding.
A source was heard saying, “It will be an extremely private, traditional Hindu ceremony with the couple tying the knot in the presence of only close friends and family. The couple is still deciding if they want a reception to follow.”
Deepika Already On Trousseau Shopping
Sources also reveal that Deepika has started shopping for her wedding from her hometown, Bangalore. The actress was spotted shopping for her dresses and jewelry with her mother and sister Anisha.
Professional Lives
Deepika Padukone was shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Sapna Didi, but has currently put the shoot on hold due to her back issues. Also, Because Irrfan Khan, her co-star isn’t keeping a good health either. Also, Deepika hasn’t kept any professional commitments for the end of the year.
On the other hand, Ranveer Singh is currently shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s Gully boy. He will soon begin shooting for another project by Rohit Shetty, Simbbaa. He has also kept himself free for the year-end as he is supposed to finally tie knots with the love of his life, Deepika Padukone. However, he will soon be starting his prep for a biopic on Kapil Dev, that will be directed by Kabir Khan at the start of the year 2019.
