Dibyendu Bhattacharya who has predominantly worked in the Indian Film Industry has acted in popular movies like Pari, Guddu Rangeela, Goal, just to name a few. He is known for his unforgettable performances in films like B.A Pass, Black Friday and Dev D.
Recently seen in the Hotstar Special Criminal Justice, he has left a deep impression in the minds of the audience by playing the character of Layak, a heartless jail inmate who troubles Aditya (Vikram Massey) in jail. For this incredible portrayal, he has won the award for the Best Actor Negative Male at the Screen XX Awards held on August 7th, 2019. Dibyendu Bhattacharya was also seen in Zee5’s Ruskin Bond ghost stories Parchhayee.

In an interview, Dibyendu Bhattacharya also said, “As an actor, I enjoy playing different types of characters, the good the bad and even the ugly! Multidimensional characters challenge me and I try to portray them in a unique way. All my characters are different from each other and I hate to be typecast! I always believe there are no short cuts for success! If you are good you will be successful one day.”
