Even though the movie has some endearing moments and cute dog friends, the narrative could have been better. Viral Shah, Nisarg Vaidya, and Hardik Sangani co-wrote the screenplay, which ties together four love stories. However, you will see that there is a lack of emotional nuance in some scenes, which makes you feel disconnected sometimes.
Sharad Kelkar is an outstanding and a rare talent. He easily fits in any character and plays it with utmost sincerity. A veteran actor, Neena Gupta is brilliant. She looks genuine in every frame of the scene. Tridha Choudhury delivers a respectable performance. Ehan Bhatt and Keerti Kelkar were decent. Kunaal Roy Kapur and Masumeh Makhija were impressive. Yes, the characters were underdeveloped with four stories running.
The most adorable part and the highlight are the dogs in the film. They add charm to the story. If you are an animal lover, you will surely feel connected. The narrative of Dil Dosti Aur Dogs is half-baked and feels rushed. The cinematography is brilliant, and scenes of the dogs are picturized exceptionally well.
