Do Patti Movie Review

Do Patti is an electrifying ride filled with mind games, romance, drama, and suspense. It also explores some major themes like sibling rivalry, mental health, and respecting each other’s boundaries. The story is well-written and well-directed and keeps you hooked. It has several layers handled with sensitivity. For those who’ve been survivors of any kind of assault or violence please be cautious, it’s realistic.

Speaking about the performances, Kajol, as always, is outstanding. The emotions and intent that she carries while playing this righteous middle-class cop from a small town are just mind-blowing. Additionally, Shaheer Sheikh deserves a loud round of applause for playing his character with a lot of dedication. He also shares a sizzling chemistry with Kriti’s character. It is one of Kriti Sanon’s best performances. She does a brilliant job playing the twins. She’ll touch your heart, draw your interest, and make you root for her.

Tanvi Azmi in the role of Maaji also ably supports the cast and impresses like she always does. However, although, the movie might be relevant and thought-provoking, it might not be a perfect film. One weak part of the film is the anti-climax. It might also be a disappointing experience for some and could’ve been blended better into the narrative in a more captivating way. At times, it gets predictable, the multiple identities of the characters clash and it might dilute the intended impact.

Final Verdict
