In the heartfelt and romantic film Dono, the themes of love, family, and destiny are eloquently present. It offers a captivating experience for fans of Bollywood’s romantic dramas. With two strangers embarking on journeys leading to the same destination, the movie pays homage to the resurgence of pure romanticism. Rajveer, the newest addition to the Deol family, delivers a remarkable performance.

Additionally, he seamlessly aligns with his character, defying expectations for a newcomer. Meanwhile, Paloma, another rising star, dazzles the audience with her emotive expressions, melodious voice, and mesmerizing dance sequences. Avnish’s adept storytelling also shines through, as the narrative effortlessly integrates relatable moments and authentic dialogue. Yet, at times, the plot may seem somewhat derivative.

The initial half of this 156-minute drama unfolds with a lot of ease and lightness. However, as the story progresses after the intermission, it ventures into realms of utter unpredictability and eccentricity. The intriguing lyrics and beautiful melodies raise the film’s emotional stakes.
