6. Chanda Mama Door Ke
Sushant seemed a true astronomy lover and his immense love attracted him like a black hole towards it. He even reached NASA to get the crucial briefings for Chanda Mama Door Ke. Sushant was doing something that he loved since childhood and that was exploring space. But as space-related movies are too costly these days, it was shelved soon due to financial declines.
7. Untitled Project With Rhea Chakraborty
Sushant was pretty sure with this project as it was starring his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty alongside him. The movie was a romantic comedy thriller that included a lot of dance. The shooting was about to start during mid-March until the outbreak of COVID-19 delayed it and it disappeared thereafter.
8. Chanakya, Tagore, Kalam- Web Series
This was an absolute thriller as we were about to see Sushant playing some of the most iconic personalities ever to take place in humanity. These personalities included respected Bal Gangadhar Tilak, missile man Sir APJ Abdul Kalam, and the genius economist Chanakya. The web series was about to present biographies of each of these gems through the most preferable and suited actor like Sushant but sadly it never took place.
9. Detective Byomkesh Bakshy Sequel
This movie was truly lit as a mystery thriller looking at Sushant’s efforts lending him the fruit for his immense hard work but it was a bit underrated, and that’s where the sequel’s idea was overlooked and shelved by the producers. Sushant was even asked about this in an interview if the sequel’s idea was on and Sushant had replied positively. But the box office rating hyped the producers in a negative way and it was called off.
10. MS Dhoni Sequel
This movie was a milestone in Sushant Singh Rajput’s career. People went to the theatre as MS Dhoni fans and returned from the theatre becoming Sushant Singh Rajput’s fan. The makers were planning for a sequel of MS Dhoni The Untold Story. However, after Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, the manager of MS Dhoni confirmed that without Sushant Singh Rajput, there will be no sequel.
