Sushant Singh Rajput was an absolute gem in Bollywood. His intelligence, humility, glamour, dedication, and kindness towards the world made him attractive. Along with acting, Sushant was a genius with AIR 7 in engineering exams as most sources say. But his golden days were followed by his tragic death and he didn’t deserve it. Being an outsider, he would have changed the view of the people towards Bollywood in a short span of time. He was one of the few actors who had acquired plots on the surface of the moon and used to examine them with his telescope daily. Sushant Singh Rajput was a person who use to dream big. 1. Paani
After being risen to fame with his debut movie, Mr. India director Shekhar Kapur was extremely eager to work with Sushant and so was he. Shekhar had even mentioned in one of his video clips that Sushant had shredded kilos of weight in the plight of the excitement of the role in Shekhar’s movie starring alongside Anushka Sharma. However, the movie was backed and shelved because the investors weren’t interested in investing where Sushant was starring.
2. Emergence
Emergence was a sci-fi movie based on the pandemic situation famed Anand Gandhi. He was very excited and keen to work with Sushant in this movie. Sushant had even joined Anand in its screenplay and everything was set unless the financial problems that shelved the movie half. They had organized several meetings and gatherings related to the movie planning and Anand once even stated that whenever he met Sushant, the movie was the only topic to talk about.
3. Murlikant Petkar Biopic
Murlikant Petkar was a Paralympian who had set a world record in freestyle swimming by finishing the 50-meter swim in just 37.33 seconds. Hence handing him a gold medal in the 1972 Summer Paralympics held at Heidelberg, Germany. Sushant felt lucky enough to be offered such an inspiring role but he left us before this movie being conceptualized. The making of this movie was in talks for a long duration until Sushant was no more.
4. Rifleman
As we all know Sushant was a keen explorer and a curious human who liked to get out of the comfort zone and perform as he was made for it. He had expresses his desire of working in a movie starring as a soldier and luckily he was offered one in which he had spilled the beans on one of his social media handles. But its production was delayed soon stating that the filmmaker didn’t possess the rights to make a film on whom they were supposed to i.e. Jaswant Singh Rawat.
5. Homi Adajania Untitled Project
Homi Adajania is looked upon as a kind filmmaker. After the success of Cocktail as a film director, Homi made movies like Angrezi Medium starring Irrfan Khan. He was set to work with Sushant until he diverged saying that he wished to work on the screenplay for a while.
