While Dream Girl 2 has been a hit in its own right, it has a long way to go to match the success of its 2019 predecessor, ‘Dream Girl.’ The original film features Ayushmann as well. Thus, he collected a massive Rs 142 crore at the domestic box office.

As it stands, Dream Girl 2 has accumulated a total of Rs 71.7 crore after eight days of release. However, it faces stiff competition from the upcoming release of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ on September 7.
